So I am between UCLA, USC, and UO (University of Oregon) and UO has offered me a full ride so I want to know if recruitment there is okay.

I know that prestigious companies recruit from UCLA bizecon and USC Marshall, and that some of the salaries they offer exceed 55,000 starting after undergrad. However, is it possible to get the same opportunity at the University of Oregon?

not as much, yu'll have to offer more and put urself out more than students from usc\ucla. portland companies may recruit u, but not many so cal.

Yeah I live in Portland, for big companies its either, Intel, Tektronics, or Nike. but yeah, where u work will depend on the college u go for the most part. Unless... if u work at a large company or move back home. Im trying to get out of oregon so I can go to USC to get a good job. Also remember that cost of living in oregon is much cheaper than LA...

Well its not that you are limited to the choices, I would say ppl in Oregon have a much healthier lifestyle for the most part, mainly due to the environment (Northwest, and also its much slower pace here than major cities such as LA). While there are smaller # of large companies, you have to remember there are tons of smaller businesses that pay very well. With the larger population, you have that much increase in competition academically, socially, and culturally. I guess it ultimately depends on what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. It is different for every person, so check them out. Either way, remember its relative to where you live, and the major factor where ever you go is how well you do. Again, there is some concessions for what I say, but Im just trying to offer some piece of advice for whatever it is worth.

For me personally, I perfer going to USC becuase I know that LA has a lot of opportunities in large investment banks and businesses which is something I want to do. Again I have some bais for living in OR all my life. I honestly believe u should check both out and see what you like. Regardless of where u go, success ultimately depends on the person and some luck.
