Since UT is all known for their business school... Would McCombs get all the job openings and positions as opposed to those who are studying economics? I feel like top notch companies and firms would always be at McCombs and those who are simply studying in their Liberal Arts college(Economics) won't get the same attention thus less opportunities? How big is the gap? Is this true? More info please? Please and thank you!!!

Recruiting at mccombs is considerably better.

The gap is pretty big if your competing against the mccombs students for jobs. Companies will definitely favor a mccombs degree over liberal arts 9 times out of 10. A way to close this gap would be to get the business foundations minor from mccombs along with an econ degree if you cant get into mccombs directly
