My recs and transcript were put in the mail on October 20, and OPUS has them listed as initiated. Would it normally take this long for someone who has mailed something or is there a high chance Emory doesn't have them? Also, I'm doing ED, so this is really important.

Anyone ?

Yeah I’m doing ED, too. I’m in same situation - I think they have a ton of papers and they’re filing through all of them, give it time they will contact us if anything is missing.

Also, don’t bump your post 44 minutes later…especially at midnight haha.

You guys didn’t do it online? Or is ED not online?

Mine are still initiated, and it has been 22 days since I mailed them.

Mine are too; guess we’ll have to wait 'till next week to hope they update it
and don’t worry, I sent mine over a month ago

[On the Oxford website](<a href=“News Archive | Emory University | Atlanta GA”>News Archive | Emory University | Atlanta GA)

It says to not worry about missing items until the end of November

I can’t find info regarding Emory college though, but I would assume the same

Give Emory time to filter all their stuff…

remember their getting THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS oF applications with only few people to sort em…

also everything but my EMORY AGREEMENT and EMORY SCHOLARS are completed…anyone else?

im getting worried about the ED agreement thingy…

I have HS transcript, counselor secondary school report, ED agreement, and both scholars form as Initiated.

And JasonGom, I hope they didn’t receive thousands! Last year they had roughly 700 ED applicants.

JasonGom, my application is the same!!
I have everything completed but those 3 :(

Hey I just submitted my app yesterday and I got an email from Emory today.

"With this change to a paperless application system, we have experienced some delays in processing application materials. You may have found that your OPUS account shows items as missing or initiated. In addition, even though all documents may have been electronically submitted together, we may not process them at the same time.

Please know we are diligently working to scan and process materials as quickly as possible. However, it may take up to 2-3 weeks for us to fully process your application materials after they are received by our office."

Hope that helps!

It does. My recs and transcript are now completed. Only my ED agreement is initiated.

Lucky you, Klelts! Mine are STILL initiated. Transcript, ED agreement, and recommendations. I’m hoping by next week it will all be complete!

I’m sure it will be. Emory is probably going to try and process ED applicants first.
