Recs from 2nd Semester Prof.

My ongoing second semester started on Jan. 17th, and I plan to ask a second semester professor for a recommendation. I am probably the most participative student in his class, and he seems to like me.

My question is: is it generally okay to have a recommendation from a professor whom I have only known for a month?

My first recommendation would be due April 1st, so I need must get a recommendation sometime this week. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you believe he can write a good recommendation that reflects you, then I say it's fine.

Bump!

:-)

Submitting it as an additional recommendation is okay. Submitting it as the primary recomendation(s) probably isn't so okay.

...Although chances are that they might not even notice that he's not your first semester professor.
