Hi I am a senior applying to most ivy league schools.

Basically all the ivy league schools ask the same question regarding Extra curricular activities that goes something like: "Please elaborate on one of your extra curricular activities (150 words)". I already wrote that essay for Princeton but is it OK if I use that same essay word for word for other ivy league schools since they ask the same question?

I also heard that ivy league schools have some connection with each other and communicate with each other about their applicants. If I use the same essay will the colleges know I did so?

I just don't think I can write 20 different essays in 3 months.

I wrote used my same basic essays for all 12 of my applications last year and I got into all but 1. So no, they are not going to ask other schools to see your essays. But if they are school specific essays make sure you have the right names and details to match that certain school and don’t get them all mixed up!
