"Red book" vs. "blue book"?

<p>Is there much of a difference other than the red book not having the writing and the blue blook eliminating the analogies and quantitive comparisons? I'm talking about the practice tests primarily. If I only practice the math and CR, will there be any difference between the red book and the blue book? The reason I ask is that I have the red book lying around but the blue book I would have to wait for if I ordered, and the June SAT is creeping up very soon.</p>

<p>I think using the practice passages of verbal from the red book for CR passage practices is a very good idea. They seem pretty similar in nature, and since both are made by CB itself, the difficulty should be comparable.</p>

<p>If the Red Book is lying around; use it. It's not that much different from the Blue Book. Once you get the Blue Book, use that.</p>
