Reduced App Fees for NMSF

<p>I am going to trust the postings and wait for school confirmation.
Now on with the process. Does anyone know of a location to find out what, if any schools offer reduced application rates to encourate NMSF to apply. We want to get this process moving along, but we are not interested in spending hundreds/thousands of dollars on app fees. We will work with our son to whittle some down some choices. However, since/if he is unsure, we want to be sure he has a shot at some of the schools that have generous offers, like Kentucky, Bama, UNM, etc. He has a couple of clear favorites, but push comes to shove, he is pretty willing to let economics play a major part in the process.</p>

<p>We found that a few privates waived App fees for NMSF, but we did have to pay for the apps to publics (which sometimes have a lower app fee). </p>

<p>With the free apps from a few of the private, and the lower fees for a couple of publics, in the end we didn’t have to spend much on app fees. However, you still have to pay to have scores sent, and if you apply to CSS schools and apply for aid, then there’s a cost there, too.</p>
