I’m pretty sure they use FedEx and most branches are open on Sundays.
So are you thinking that they’re actually going to spend the money to FedEx a package to every person they offer a spot?
The confusing thing is that they’ve said twice in the past two days on their Twitter account that people will receive notification “by April 1 via the postal service.” That doesn’t seem to align with how they are notifying people though.
Last year the people who were admitted (in addition to the email) received notification via fedex. I thought that seemed expensive but it’s likely it’s part of their budget.

So I’m hoping they send the second batch of acceptance emails in a little less than 2 hours to go along with The Cure theme… Why else would they choose that song title as the subject for their email yesterday?
The only problem with that theory is that they’d have to release all of the emails at precisely 10:15. Seems like there’s little room for error.
I guess at the moment that theory is still a 50-50. They just need to send at about that time and we can still get the message. What’s more unlikely to me is that they still work at 10:15.
Maybe they’ll just send one acceptance email then :^)

Yeah there’s a lot of room for error, but I can’t think of any other reason as to why they used a song title from The Cure and not just a regular “you’re in!” sort of deal. I may just be reaching for things that aren’t there though, I’m really anxious haha
I’m expecting rejection and I don’t think it’s the right schools for me but there’s a lot I really like about Reed and if they go through with this I would have even more respect for them. I already love them for sending me an excellent periodic table a few years ago. It took me through two years of Chem and was by far the best college marketing mail I’ve received.

@victorose5 The notification emails from Friday had a title that referred to a song by the Cure “Friday I’m in Love” or whatever so we’re all grasping at straws to find out what happens next. Maybe we’ll get an email on Saturday at 10:15, referencing another song by the Cure.

I’m a little mad that Reed would do this to us like this. Why don’t we deserve to know?
