<p>In the essay, I talk about the person who has made the most impact in my life. If I mentioned what college he went to (top college btw), would it negatively impact admission if I apply to another school and they read this? Or would it even help if it was the same college?</p>
<p>Personally, I think it’s irrelevant, and just uses up words/space.</p>
<p>I just wanted to use it as an apposition.</p>
