<p>Hi I'm an incoming freshman to VT, at orientation they said the refrigerator could be no larger than 4.5 cubic feet, and I had planned to use the one my sister used at her college that is actually somewhere around 5.5 cubic feet, is this measurement enforced or checked? I'd really hate to have to get another fridge just because it is a little bit bigger than the required size, any help or input would be greatly appreciated!</p>
<p>I would doubt that they care if it is a little bigger than 4.5. As long as it is not your standard size kitchen refrigerator, I would let it stand as is. Plus you never know, your roommate may have one to bring.</p>
