Just to get some opinions - I have recently been accepted to a top 20 school with more acceptances probably to come. Though the common app only asked for disciplinary history from 9th grade forward, the enrollment deposit sheet for this school (not sure on others yet) does not specify high school in the box you have to check. I was suspended in middle school for sending a harshly worded email to a teacher I didn't like in a fit of immaturity. I really have no ethical opposition to omitting this information, but I wouldn't like to think that the school could somehow find out. However, even if I do tell the truth, I've already been accepted and I doubt something so far in the past will cause any problems with a clean high school record. What do you think?

Just like you don’t report middle school grades, you don’t report middle school disciplinary history…

I just don’t see the point.

If it only asks for high school record, why would you lower your application by “going above and beyond”. It says high school and beyond, why would you screw yourself out of a better application?

^No, the enrollment form does not say that, which is why I ask.

Leave it out. It’s understood to be high school forward, I believe.

anyone else?
