Just curious, do colleges care about your regents scores if they are not in New York? I know NYU gives importance to them, but how about schools like Northwestern and gulp Ivies? Cornell and Columbia probably care about Regents, but what about Brown and Stanford?
I hope they at least look at them. Some of those regents tests are HARD.

Most private NYS colleges don’t care about Regents exam scores. While it is true that a handful of exams are challenging (I’m thinking primarily Physics), most have been incredibly “dumbed down” over the past 30 years. It is still difficult to score a 97 – 100 on most exams, but they are so easy to pass that you almost have to work overtime to fail them.

I think Cornell and Columbia might wonder why someone failed to achieve a 90+ on a Regents exam if they thought about them at all.
