I just have my letter grade for chem20a, and I get a B+ which is hard to believe to me cause I have average 1st mid-term(an easy one, everyone is 90+) and 20 points above average for 2nd mid-term. I did fine in the final. I want to take a look at the final and see if I can do something about it. So frustrated right now, I need your suggestions. plz help...

It feels like **** when they decide the grade behind the scenes and you don’t know *** is going on!!

AWWWWW no one’s responding I am going berserkWWWWWWWWWWWWXXXXXXXXXYYYYY

be happy you got a B+, there are people in your class that actually tried and got hit with B’s and lower, so don’t complain and just do better in the next class.

Go to the teacher with sencerity and ask if you can look through the final with your scantron so you can see what you did wrong so you “can do better on the ap test”. If you see something wrong, ask he about it.

Average is usually B/B-, so if you just did fine or a little above average, B+ seems reasonable

I agree with above that your grade sounds reasonable. Doing average, above average, and fine does not equal an A grade. You can ask your professor to find out when/where you can take a look at your exam, but regrade policy is that you can’t have one, bar clerical errors.

Thank you so much guys. The reason I come up with this idea is my professor is not a good grader. I should have 2 more points in the 1st misterm and he won’t give it back. I boost the 2nd midterm 7 points up. He’s the kind of people who make massive mistakes in grading so I don’t trust him. I know I probably just have to go with it after all, but again, thanks guys, I really appreciate your help.

lol are you talking about gelbart?
i was seriously considering that too. i thought i did really well in the class but i ended up with a B- ._.
