Doesn’t Dean J post on Twitter when decisions are coming out though? I would highly doubt that decisions come out in 4 hours if there’s been no notification, but yet again, who knows
@guitar321 actually she usually posts around 2 or 3 the day decisions come out, for ea it was at 2, so 2 more hours until we will know!!!
lol oddly enough I had a dream about Dean J posting that decisions would be out today evening. hopefully that ends up being the case

I would say there’s a 49% chance of decisions being released today considering the current time.
@satwreckerZ2 i dont think its preferential treatment, DeanJ has said many times before that the frustratingly late decision posting is due to late midyear reports
its mostly just a systematic issue on part of applicants schools more than a UVa has forgotten about us
as a deferred EA applicant, I feel ya. However, I think the apparent disregard for RD can be attributed to the overlap season that is happening right now with the Days On the Lawn (which were scheduled way beforehand). The DOTL normally began after RD release, I believe. In my opinion, they’re trying their best to juggle all of their many responsibilities at this time. I’m sure that they care about us just the same, and I believe that the decisions are coming soon

The comment has been edited, but I have to address the part about not paying attention to RD students. We don’t play favorites. There are obviously schools that fill their class with early applicants, but we aren’t one of them. The review is the same regardless of when you apply, though RD students have the benefit of showing one more semester of work.
Only two of the seven DOTLs are for EA students.
