So WFU sent rejection and waitlisted today?
Does this mean those who did not receive mail got in?
It could just be based on location
I wouldn’t speculate and just wait until Monday or Tuesday since everyone should have a decision by then
@whatyouflex, all decisions were mailed out on the same day. How far someone is from Wake will determine when they will receive their envelope. I hope you get a large gold envelope.
Got my acceptance letter earlier today. I live in PA. Does anybody know if Wake gives any merit aid other than the big scholarships like the Reynolds scholarship. I will not be receiving any need-based aid but definitely cannot afford full tuition.
@outsidethebox, In your acceptance letter (second to the last paragraph tells you that you will receive financial aid info by mid April. Congratulations and welcome to the Forest.
@outsidethebox, please help others by giving folks your info on the Results ONLY thread. Thanks.
Before I applied, Wake Forest sent me several letters saying I am a very competitive candidate and urged me to apply. Now I got rejected. I feel so bad. Anyone explaining why?
@DreamComeTrue99 because everyone gets those letters :), sorry about not getting in tho, I got rejected as well so I know the feeling.
Got rejected but i really like the letter they sent me. It was very personal to myself and stated that I was only rejected for financial reasons.
Oh,wow. Feels better that I am not alone. @johonmilla
just got the gold package. i live in maryland
@DreamComeTrue99 I understand if you don’t wanna answer, but did you submit tests scores? And also, what was your gpa? I’m just feeling like I’m going to get rejected, so I kinda want to prepare myself. But I understand if you don’t want to answer
@MooMoo121121 where in MD?
I’ve always read that Wake has a need-blind policy for admissions… anyone have any info on this?
Accepted . Sent in both ACT & SAT scores, interviewed on campus. My top 10 list and essays were more on the serious side . Good luck to everyone
Daughter got in but has already decided to accept at UNC Chapel Hill instead. We live in Charlotte, NC. She has 31ACT, 3.8 unweighted and 4.7 weighted GPA. Very strong essays, lots of medical internships last 2 years, and very active with her track team.
has anyone tried USPS yet to see the weight or picture of the package?
@tylerperez12 how do you check USPS for the package?
