Anyone from CA receive anything?
Anyone from North Georgia receive anything?
@WFUparent, Thank you! for your reply. Will apply to WL and see what happens. thanks again.
@whatyouflex Augusta, which is right on the border of SC and GA
@WFUparent first of all, thanks! I don’t really think it matters though since it’s not binding, all I will lose is deposit if I choose WFU if I’m admitted through waitlist and I’m committed to another college already
@Yacht998 is it weird that I live in Atlanta and didn’t get mail from WF?
Tbh I thought those in Atlanta would get them first since it’s a major city in the southeast. However, I’m okay with waiting til tomorrow
Hi, we live in northern VA (just outside of DC) and we got our envelope on Saturday. And our mail person comes early, like @ noon. However, my daughter was the only one in her school to have gotten her envelope. No one else received so maybe our local post office is just super-quick in processing incoming mail? Anyway, just wanted to give you a point of reference and how it may also differ, even in the same region. Good luck to all!
Apologies if I missed the answer to this question - Do decisions come in different envelopes (acceptance in tan, denied in another color ) ? In Massachusetts so we’re expecting Tuesday delivery.
Didn’t get in. Not sure if rejected or waitlisted but see on USPS it’s a small white envelope. Got deferred ED and now either waitlisted or rejected. 3.8 GPA and 33 ACT composite/34 superscore. Interviewed in September and visited twice. Tough go.
How do you know about the package on USPS?
Accepted!!! From IL:) good luck to everyone!!
@collegecc2017 how do you see your package on USPS?
My son could have written this exact same post, @collegecc2017. He interviewed in September, visited twice, had the same gpa and ACT…and unfortunately, the same envelope in myusps.
@malmac @collegecc2017 what else was on the application, what about ECs and community service and leadership positions? That worries me because your sons seem very accomplished but GPA/ACT certainly isn’t everything. I’m very sorry to hear that though, I’m sure they will be successful wherever they go.
@malmac How do you know what WF sent you? I signed up for My USPS, but it shows that I have no packages are being sent to me. Is there an actual picture of the envelope that you see?
@whatyouflex Yes, there’s a picture, but the service didn’t start working until a couple days after I signed up.
FYI to all: the USPS confirmation does not work all the time. There may be limitations on where you live on what gets displayed. We signed up for USPS two weeks ago and get daily notification on some but NOT all deliveries. They have tabs for both Mail and Package deliveries. We had no notifications on USPS today, but my son did receive the Gold package. Good luck to all. BTW, we are in North Texas.
@ilovelabs He has decent ECs, including three years varsity sports, much volunteering with disadvantaged kids, and interning in govt, but as you suggest, everyone’s situation is unique. The scores are just one part of the decision. Best of luck to you.
This wait is killing me. I live in Tennessee. I am sure some sort of package or letter is there, but I am in Mexico right now ):
