<p>Ok, so seeing as we have only one month RD'ers, lets at least talk about URoch, up until the letters are in. This forum is kind of dead so to speak for those of us who haven't yet gotten our decisions. Any comments on what you like/dislike about URoch, or the school in general?<br>
As a side note, I'm kind of relying on the U of R to come through with some $$ too...here's hoping. :rolleyes:</p>
<p>My son applied and we are waiting for regular decision. Most people that go there seem to like it and everyone was very nice on our tour. We've also heard positive things about the financial packages and my son just loves the cold weather and snow. Only problem? After touring my son said he was afraid that the atmosphere (all buildings the same red brick) would suck the life out of him,lol. Regardless, he wanted to keep it on his list.</p>
<p>Yeah, I'd actually tend to agree with him about the brick. But the UofR used to be one of my top choices, until I started thinking that (I as a snow day loving freak) would have a hard time living in the snow for all but two months of the year. It also seemed to me that a lot of the students at URoch are kind of cuthroat when it comes to GPA...just a thought</p>
<p>Yeah, they said mid-march. So do they mean that pretty literally, or is it usually towards the end of the month. I'm kinda anxious, because this will be the first school I am hearing back from!!</p>
<p>All speculation...but I'm assuming that they mail in Mid-March to arrive in late March early April. My guess is somewhere around March 21st-ish, they will mail them. (Only my guess because that is the date that three of the schools I applied to said they would mail them...all with the "mid-march" mail date)</p>
<p>I can't wait. . . .but I'm sure the time will fly by.</p>
<p>I wonder if I checked my application status a couple weeks before it says we'll receive snail mail if it would be updated to show admission status?</p>

<p>Well, if you go to the old forum (where my old username dissapeared into the great abyss) Everyone seemed to be getting their decisions well before april. I'm looking for it to come somewhere around the 20th, but almost def. before april.</p>
