Regular Decisions

yay, just got my letter!!
but it didn't include financial aid info or anything.... they mail that separately, right?
sorry if you've already discussed that and i missed it.

Hm, I think Finaid info is supposed to be included unless you didn't turn in your forms on time.

Hey, has anyone else (domestic) not gotten a letter? because again, I live in Ohio and still haven't gotten one and I'm worried!

My son (Oregon) just got his letters today--waitlisted at the college, rejected at the conservatory.

That is strange that you haven't heard, since you live in Ohio. If you don't hear tomorrow, I would call. It can't hurt.

Good luck!

Whoops, apparently the letters were sitting there and i never noticed. I don't know how that happened.

Rejected! Ouch. Oh well, I got a great scholarship at UBC, so I'll probably go there :).

Good luck to anyone still waiting!

Waitlisted, but Oberlin was the last place I was thinking of going on my list so I don't really care. I thought it was weird that I got waitlisted, but I found out my boyfriend got into OSU, so we are going there for sure. OSU was my first choice so everything worked out for the best. :)

Nothing for me here in California =( Big mail travels slower right? =P

strange that wondrlst didn't get anything in cali, im in san francisco and got mine today.

ahh did you get in? i'mholding onto my dumb 'big mail slow' theory.

yep, accepted. Came in same bundle as my northwestern acceptance. It was strange because the NW one siad "congratulations" all over it and was really thick. the Oberlin one was a big envelope, but still thin and didn't have any writing on it, just the college colors. I'm so happy I got in, I got a scholarship too, but tehy didnt even have a letter about that, just that it was there under my financial aid statement.

Big mail may move slower, and the USPS is always unpredictable

What is this?! its almost a week after they sent it and i still have nothing. I'm working on this 'my postal man is insane and likes to horde select mail from me' theory but really not that reassuring, nope. how long do i wait before i call them?

Why the hell have I not received anything... International snail mail is the worst...

Out of curiosity, is there anyone else who has not received a letter from oberlin? I got nothing. I called them and they said ..i'd hear within a week...i reallyyyyyy dont know why. 5 bucks says im waitlisted (just like nearly every other school i applied to)
