Mattyblueyes,

From all I've read this has been the toughest year ever for someone out of state to get in. You have outstanding SATs and should get in at a very good school. Heck, even if you don't, getting where you want in life is 95 to 99 percent you and 5 to 1 percent the school.

Thanks ICFT, I'll be heading out to Notre Dame or USC in the fall

not too bad as alternatives.

not at all! Good luck...W&M's lost...def.

waitlisted envelopes are small, sadly.

i was waitlisted last year as a high school senior, have now been accepted as a transfer for fall out of Lehigh. SO excited. To everyone else who got in--congratulations! To those of you waitlisted--hang in there; if you want it, it can happen (might just take a bit longer). To everyone who didn't get in--good luck making your decision, and I hope you'll be happy whereever you go. Remember, transferring is always an option!

Ursdad: Where did your daughter end up sending her deposit? What was the financial package like for an out of state student at W & M?

she decided to attend dartmouth. it was a very difficult choice between brown, dartmoutn and william and mary. the financial packages from each school made the cost of attendance at each very similar.
