HAHAHAHHA. Sorry, I just had to post this. So hilarious.

To the UC__ Director of Admissions:

Thank you for your letter last April ___, 2010. After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your rejection at this time.

This year I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising pool of schools, it is impossible for me to accept all refusals.

Despite your outstanding record and previous experience in rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection does not meet my current career needs. Consequently, I will begin taking classes as a _________ student in the _________ department this September. I look forward to seeing you in the Fall.

Best of luck in your future rejection endeavors.

Lighten up peeps! I have to admit, when my friend said that the reason I probably got rejected from SB was because I didn’t have enough parties in my extracurriculars… I lolled.

someone MUST send this. If I don’t get accepted into Cal, at least there will be one good side to it. I 100% will absolutely send this if i don’t get in. I’m only upset i didn’t think of it myself.

But getting it second hand is better than having no hands…

lol, nicely crafted letter. I sent one to USC last year that was similar to this letter (albeit less sarcastic), but I never received any form of response. But, this is a letter for the UC system, so who knows how they’ll react. :)
