I just got rejected from UCSB and I was shocked. I’ve attended two colleges one out of state and another at a California community college. I didn’t have the best grades at the out of state college with my GPA resting around a 2.2 after attending the college for two years. I managed to turn things around at my local community college in California and get a 3.4 as well as get my associate degree in communication. During my time at the community college, I retook courses that I had done poorly in previously. I also took all the pre-major requirements for the UCSB communication program that was offered at my community college and completed them with above a 3.0 average. Should I try appealing the rejection decision? I’m finishing up my associate’s degree this spring and will be getting a 4.0 for the term. I’m at a loss of what to do, this was the school I was planning on attending.
You didn’t TAG?
@Ohm888 My counselor told me not to since I didn’t meet the GPA requirement. So I tagged to UC Davis and my tag app was rejected.
