<p>but i got into ucsd. </p>
<p>i'm confused. my stats aren't that high - 3.7/3.8 UC GPA, 2121 SAT, average EC's. </p>
<p>i thought i'd get into ucsb for sure, but rejected from ucsd. </p>
<p>i've concluded that college admissions are messed up. :/</p>

<p>i applied for biochem to both.</p>
<p>You may have other activities that UCSD gave you points for. Leadership, volunteer hours, low income, etc.. what I found is that UCSD admission process is not about stats.</p>
