stats are pretty irrelevant for appeals i think, what they want is new/compelling information that wasn’t in your original application

my question:
For the “new and compelling info” are you allowed to put awards you received between the time you submitted your application and now? or is it only awards that you could’ve sent in with your original app

Oh and how “legit” does this new and compelling information have to be ;)

Well you probably shouldn’t lie about awards or hardships that you didn’t include in your original application o_o. I’m personally appealing on the basis of getting top 3 finishes in 2 state competitions and I’m going to an international competition later in the year, and other various stuffs.

You should NEVER lie in your college application the least bit, you’ll never know what they’re going to catch you with.
I have a friend who twisted the truth and said he was in a club for 3 years but actually only spent 2 years in that club, and the UCs caught him. he goes to a CC now
