Has anyone ever heard of a UC (obv not LA, Cal or SD) rejecting a transfer student’s TAG even when they meet the minimum GPA requirements? I overheard a classmate of mine talking about it and it got me worried.
There was a one or two transfers last year that stated they were rejected from UCI even though they fulfilled the TAG requirements. Not sure about the circumstances. There are other rules in addition to GPA that can get you disqualified, including when you completed English and math, as one example.
