Rejected from School of Engineering?

As you all know, when applying to Rutgers you must apply to 3 schools. One of them I applied to was the School of Engineering. I was not following an engineering curriculum mainly because I was not even planning on doing engineering...but I have recently been thinking about doing engineering...go figure.

When I applied as a transfer student I had a 3.84 GPA and I was only following a Liberal Arts Curriculum at my County College...which means that the only sci/math classes taken was Calc 1 and General Chemistry. I got an A in Calc 1 and am in process of taking Chem.

I earned 60 credits already at my CC and need to start taking courses at Rutgers. So if I enroll into the School of Arts and Sciences for this Fall, I would take Calc 2, Physics 1, and two other courses.

Basically I just want to know if it is possible to somehow enter the school of engineering from the SAS for Spring 2013. I was not following any engineering curriculum or anything.

Requirements for people transferring from outside Rutgers:
[Transfer from an External College | Rutgers University School Of Engineering](http://soe.rutgers.edu/oaa/transfer_external)
For School to School transfer (within Rutgers):
[Transfer from School-to-School | Rutgers University School Of Engineering](http://soe.rutgers.edu/oaa/transfer_schooltoschool)

So, your best bet is to apply/attend the SAS, and then apply for a school to school transfer.

Pretty sure u need at least a 3.0 in sas. If u want to transfer into engineering school u should speak to dean bernath about what classes u should take and u should try ur best to get at least a B in each course but nothing less than a C
