Rejected from UCLA

Does UCLA send you an email when your decision is available? And does anyone know if they send it for both accepted and rejected applicants? Thanks for heads up.

by the way, I know a guy on the inside who looked up my application status on the administrative computers and said my decision was still pending, so there is still hope for those of us still waiting...

No UCLA didn't send anything. UCLA's financial aid dept did send out emails to admitted students.

I am definitely not here to gloat. With that stated, I think you're right that people who were admitted probably shouldn't be posting in here......just as much as people who were rejected shouldn't be touting that the whole process is random and making derisive comments on the school that they so....loved for many years now that is all of a sudden a crap house. lol To do such a 180 shows a complete lack of character.....

You know.....I frankly didn't even think about going to UCLA until a friend said I should the day before the applications were due. It wasn't on the forefront of my mind, but after being on CC, I see how great a school is that can provoke such passion in the people that get in and the ones that don't.

Ok, I just got into Cal. Waiting for hear from more UCLA rejects who got into Cal

Congratulations, Blackdream! Glad it worked it out for you......

However, let's dispel the notion that one gets into one and not the other, I got into both. :-)

Well Blackdream,

Obviously you and everyone else got into Cal because the whole process is random.

;)

i do think that whoever said it made a great point that essays are highly dependent upon who reads them. writing is incredibly subjective, although there are some writers that are evidently extremely talented... others are highly misunderstood.

i got into Cal, not LA

got into cal but awaiting ucla
