<p>Finished all prereqs. I would take accounting courses, and try to acquire loads of job experience through NASA Ames join internship program with De Anza and some other financial internship. I would also probably take another language. I think if i were to stay, I'd probably focus more on private universities and try to bump my gpa closer to 3.95 rather than the current 3.89</p>

<p>Careful now. I heard De Anza / Foothill are switching to +/- grading in the fall (like they should have been all along). But if you take easy classes it shouldn't matter, but getting that 4.0 may have goten just a tad bit more challenging.</p>
<p>Just got my rejection letter from Colby.</p>
<p>Apparently, they admitted 5 people for transfer this year. Assuming a similar volume of application as last year, that makes the acceptance rate about 5%. Awesome.</p>

<p>i was assured of admission by my transfer counselor. i had a very demanding courseload, 3.94gpa, 3 semesters of calc (all A's), and i got rejected as an econ major...</p>

<p>woot... kind of belated. I got rejected by Cornell; received the official snail mail letter today.</p>
