yesterday i got a rejection email from johns hopkins. it was a complete rejection, not even a waitlist one. but considering that i haven't taken one of the recommended SAT subject tests for biomedical engineering in johns hopkins (it didn't fit into my schedule), are there still chances for me at cornell? i know the decisions come out tomorrow, but i'm so scared.

At these top schools, it's all a crapshoot. I haven't looked at your stats, but in no way is a rejection from Johns Hopkins one at Cornell.

EDIT: I looked at them, everything looks decent except your SAT's.

I agree with sylenteck0. Also, I'm not sure if it would apply to you, but keep in mind that JHU is not need blind. They look at your income when deciding whether or not to accept you, but, Cornell is need blind so that may help you. And I'm hoping that rejections from boston college and duke doesn't mean a rejection from cornell but we'll see. good luck : )
