I haven't rejected the colleges that I'm not going to go, but the deadline for rejecting them has already passed. Is it ok if I just leave it? Do I have to email the colleges to say that I will be rejecting their admission?</p>
<p>You need to let these colleges know ASAP so that other students who are on the waiting list there will have a chance.</p>
<p>Sorry I did not read the second part of your question. Some schools have a box to check on the acceptance site to delcine admission on others that do not have this you will need to email admisssions.</p>
<p>My son sent in his “rejections” a day late (5/2), except for a few that he did a few weeks ago. I was surprised by how hard it was to figure out how to decline admission. I thought there would be an easy button to click on each college’s website, but we spent a lot of time searching and ended up just sending e-mails to the admissions office for each.</p>
