Rejections??

I am just wondering if UMich posts rejections online....

check out the last few posts in the ‘deferred in december’ thread. apparently, michigan doesn’t do rejections, period.

University of Michigan does do rejections though as stated in a recent thread those who have applied ER will either be accepted or waitlisted ( which is your actual rejection). I’m not sure if this is true but wouldn’t be surprise if this is practiced since University of Michigan have either accepted those who applied ER or gave a deferrel.

I guess this could be solved by looking at the number who applied ER, those accepted and then the number of students offered waitlist. This data can probably be found on ************** or collegeboard.

(This can also give false numbers due to the possibility of waitlising transfers and graduate students… but usually these numbers are much smaller)

We’ve also got to consider that the majority of people rejected don’t go parading the fact to their schoolmates or collegeconfidential, which may make the number of students who have been denied admissions so far less than this board would suggest.
