Sooo true. But I feel like the admissions process is trying not to hurt my feelings, hahaha. I've been accepted to all of my safeties, matches (with the exception of Pepperdine--I'm still waiting for my email today!), and one reach, but I got waitlisted at CMC, and it looks like I'm going to be a spring admit or reject at USC.

It's like the system is sugarcoating itself for me. Baha.

"I find it funny how the people that got rejected were like "Woo USC is so amazing, Fight On!" before, and now that they weren't accepted, they bring out the original and unheard of jokes and cracks."

this is ridiculous. i can't believe that i still have not heard from usc. my status was so weird and so all over the board and i thought that i was fine with a rejection, but the waiting is really putting a damper on my day(s). whatever. i hate graduating this year, it is too competative. i got accepted to all my uc's, nyu with 35k in scholarships, waitlisted from the two ivys that i applied to and am awaiting a rejection from usc. i should have applied to cmc. atleast i wouldve received my rejection by now and i could go on with my life.

^ Chinaski, I like your attitude re: your stats comments.
Maybe you will be the next Steven Spielberg (rejected at USC), good luck with your future Oscar speech!

I agree, Chinaski! I was pulling for you. I'm sure you'll do wonderful, creative things, regardless of the path to Hollywood. Good luck!

I'm so sorry that so many of you are feeling disappointed. I'm not going to say everything happens for a reason, but I do believe you will all work effectively with what's been delivered to you. It's been fun getting to know you all - a great bunch!

Well, I've been rejected as well. "Acted On" March 29th, like the rest of you.
It was a nice letter, and it certainly gave me hope for next year! My plan now is to go to Northeastern or Bentley with half tuition scholarships in their honors program for a year, and transfer to the home of the Trojans! Marshall here I come!

For now, good luck to the rest of you! It has been a fun (and nervous) experience, but I have no regrets, and I am happy that I sought my dream reach. My slacker butt didn't really deserve to go to USC anyway, lol :)
