Relation b/w where you go and where you practice

Hi, all.

I want to practice law in Miami.

Assuming acceptance, would it be better to attend the University of Florida or Miami over the University of Texas if I want to practice here in Miami? Or what about Vanderbilt? Basically, is there a break that can be made in the accepted law rankings where all the schools above that line have a true national presence and those below it are more regional? I hear about the T14, what about schools just outside that boundary?

UF and Miami would be great for you.

You can get internships in Miami if you are at the U.

UM is known for tax law. Otherwise, UF. I think you will be fine at either.

Yea you’ll be fine at either, dont let the whole t-14 thing scare you. Keep your grades up and network
