I know many Community Colleges have options where you can transfer to a nearby state college. (guaranteed admissions) (Like Valencia CC and Brevard CC allows you to transfer to UCF) Is it like that with Santa Fe to UF. After you receive your AA degree are you guaranteed admissions to UF? Lemme know. Thanks. :)

"After you receive your AA degree are you guaranteed admissions to UF? "

Nah, UF has more standards than that.

I’m pretty sure that hasn’t been policy for a while. Pretty much every community college provides an equal opportunity to get into UF from what I’ve heard. It isn’t guarenteed though.

Yes, there is a relationship because all Florida public community colleges and all Florida public universities. I would contact the admissions office at the CC you are looking at and they can tell you statistically what they feel it takes to get admitted from there to UF once you complete your AA.

Good advice. Thanks. :)

They do have a relationship and I’ve heard they tend to prefer SF transfers but you are guaranteed admission to A state university, you aren’t always guaranteed admission to a specific one.

I have a meeting with my CC advisor tomorrow, and I’ll be asking him about my chances of getting to UF if I stay at my current CC. SF just might be what’s best for me If I want to go to UF.

Advisor at CC wasn’t much help. I guess I’ll just call Santa Fe.

What CC do you go to? As long as you have good grades it shouldn’t make that big of a difference, plenty of people on here transferred from CC’s other than Santa Fe
