release dates?

I'm in. Hooray, etc. My stats are on the thread for stats.

Have any internationals heard yet?

accepted in WA!

I'm pretty much deciding between this and MIT, unless I get into yale....

saaammie--no, not yet!! I thought internationals were going to hear earlier?

Really? Where did you see that?
Maybe there'll be something tomorrow. well, the day after tomorrow in my case, since my mail is one day late. -.-

Well, isn't that the case for many other colleges though? I know Oberlin sent email notifications to internationals a week before domestic students.

<-- international.
did not even realize they were already out...
do they do email notifications? or is just mail?

it'll take time for the mails to reach us internationals..

Carleton sends acceptance packages to international students via express mail. So, if they have sent the letters to domestic and international students at the same time, accepted students should receive them very soon. Carleton does not e-mail internationals. However, I think they do e-mail individual applicants if he/she does not get his/her letter within a certain period after it has been mailed. Two weeks, I think.

I'm international and I was waitlisted.
I'm sad, of course, but I'm happy they didn't outright reject me. I knew my SAT scores were low and I applied very last minute.

I just realized I haven't seen any rejections here... Good or bad sign?

I had one daughter who was waitlisted and the next year her sister was accepted. Both are equally brilliant. :) I think people don't post their rejections very much.

That's probably true, Hindoo. :)

saaammie,

I'm sorry, I know you must be sick of such questions, but did you get notified by email...?

Don't worry. :)
No, i got a letter. It arrived today. It was a very nice letter.

Ugh...why do I live at the end of the Earth?

I suffer with you. :)

@Iúileb
I live further than you :(

Someone from admissions please take pity on these poor souls from 'round the world and post the decisions online :(

^^^^ Amen to that
