When will Carleton release RD decisions?

<p>Based on prior years, they are usually mailed a week earlier. People have reported decisions received around March 25th.</p>

<p>Does Carleton still do some early write acceptances (not likely letters but actual “you’re in” confirmations), or has that practice been discontinued? I remember getting my acceptance letter around the first week or March, but that was six years ago.</p>

<p>I’ve never heard anyone mention it in the RD round (I was ED) but then again, that’s not the sort of thing anyone would talk about once they’re a Carleton student.</p>

<p>Last year, the first RD decisions reported on CC were around March 25; so maybe they discontinued the practice of sending some early writes.</p>

<p>The last I heard of early letters was six years ago, so it looks like you were one of the last to receive one, dietcokewithlime!</p>

<p>Carleton does not do early writes anymore. The anticipated release date is March 22nd, with letters arriving sometime in that week depending on geography.</p>

<p>Just to clarify–it sounds like Carleton will mail the letters on the 22nd. You’ll probably get them the 26th or the 27th.</p>
