Relevant activities for film

I don’t live in the US and in my country there are almost no activities related to filmmaking. I am a junior and I am worried that this might affect my application.
I do have a few activities related to the arts, such as the high school choir and arts and crafts activities, but nothing related to filmmaking, which is what I want to do.
I’ve tried to find online contests but I didn’t come across anything relevant.
I would be grateful if you gave me some suggestions.
Thank you!

Anything related to theatre: acting, directing, lighting, set design, etc. Creative writing, especially fiction or drama. Photography. Painting and drawing.

If I do write, paint, take photographs and sing (and play the piano a little bit) but just for myself (not for competitions and stuff), can I include these things in my application?

And what if I start a youtube channel? Would that be helpful?

During several panel discussions, USC’s SCA faculty has spoken about the ability to be a good storyteller (and I’ve noticed that this philosophy carries over into other disciplines – for example, my architecture-major son has to consider a building’s ability to tell a story). Be sure to include examples of storytelling in your materials.
