Will BC look at my application differently because i’m muslim? Does anyone know how that would affect admission?

i dont think it would affect you negatively. they are looking for diversity. but i'm not sure.

it won't affect you negatively. you do get extra points for being catholic, but i wouldn't be too concerned about it. religion is only one small part of the application, and bc really seems to be pushing diversity right now.

I think you actually get some extra points for being muslim. The reason BC has so many Catholic students is because the students themselves want a Catholic environment. BC just wants diversity overall.

P.S.
I dorming with 3 muslims and 4 catholics, they all seem to love it here; I have no religion what so ever. Don't let the religious overtone discourage you from applying.

i only say that because my OL worked in admissions, and they went by a point system and applicants got points for being catholic...of course, that's not hard evidence or anything, because it could be MORE points for being muslim. anyway, point is, don't let that worry you, it doesn't matter that much.

would going to a Massachusetts Catholic high school with a good reputation help me get in?
