religion in admissions decisions

If applying to a school that has a religious affiliation, does it hurt you if you are not of that religion? For example, I am Lutheran and am looking to apply to Villanova, Boston College, and Georgetown. Is this going to make it more difficult for me to be accepted or will it have no influence?

No influence at all.

yea, they don't care......

how about Jewish at like Notre Dame?

Doesnt matter.

Jewish at Washington University in St. Louis?

Washington Univ. has no religious affiliation, and there are many Jewish students there.

being jewish at notre dame i would think help your chances a lot of getting in. I've heard they are desperately looking for minorites because they are about 80& catholic.

The only place where your religion might factor would be at places like Bob Jones or Brigham Young...and do you really want to go there?
