Where you held in any of these classes? For example, for Math or English. Did you learned anything?

yeah i was. i was given a placement test and failed miserably for math. I kind of knew I would be in a remedial class because I have a lot of difficulties with math. I hated the class! It was done through a computer program, and all the students worked at their own pace. There was only one teacher for a large group of students. It was hard to get his attention, and he barely had enough time to explain a concept before moving on to the next student. I don’t think I learned much, because while I blazed through the program it was a big challenge for me. I would have preferred to have a real teacher. I think I can recall some concepts. Sometimes it’s good to have these classes as a refresher course.

No. I actually almost had to take the class below College Algebra (which is not actually a remedial class, but not a class I needed). I kept getting a 21 on the math part of my ACT, and I need a 22. Finally I got a 22 and stopped taking it.
