Remove an AP score from score send

Hi,

I applied to and was accepted to SMU this past admissions cycle and will be going there in the fall. I just got my AP score back from this spring and would like to send it along with my scores from last year to them.

The problem I’m having is that last year I got a 1 on the microeconomics exam so chose not to include that on my application, I only wrote down the 3’s I got in macroeconomics and US History. And then this year I got a 4 in environmental science.

My question is would that 1 negatively impact me in any way? And if so is there anyway to remove that one score from my official score report, similar to the way you can remove SAT subject test scores? Maybe they would see me not reporting the 1 as dishonesty and put me on academic probation or worse rescind over this?

My GPA was well below the mark for SMU - I’m sure I was a controversial admit who got in solely based on my SAT score + extracurriculars so I worry this may be the final piece of evidence they need to decide I don’t belong at SMU

Since college board has a score send discount until 6:30 PM today fast replies would be appreciated.

Thanks

It doesn’t matter that there is a 1. (Unless, of course, you reported it as a 5!)

You won’t be looking for credit from it.

Nah I didn’t report it at all. But ok great, thanks

No worries - send them all.

If they have already accepted you, why would you send them? I doubt they would revoke your admission, but why rock the boat?

For many schools, their conditions of admission includes sending an official AP score report.

Probably to meet an application requirement and to get the credit and advanced placement that AP tests provide. I’m not aware of any school that trusts an applicant’s self-reported scores, both for admission and to place them out/give them college course credit without an official report.
