<p>Invitations for Ren scholarship don’t go out until March.</p>
<p>That said, I would urge you to submit your application for the Ren when you originally apply to UR (or as soon as possible afterwards) so that your app can be sent to the Ren committee for consideration.</p>

<p>It used to work that way and still does. (All applicants are considered for all available merit awards.) </p>
<p>However, for the past 2 or 3 years applicants have been allowed to self-nominate for Ren consideration if they believe they meet the qualifications.</p>
