Rensselaer Medal Winner?

i got the RPI medal for my school thats gonna give me 60000 dollar scholarship for 4 years.
is listing that in the awards section gonna help for other colleges?
thanks^^

It'll help, of course. This article on Stanford admissions talks about the RPI medal in their evaluation of an applicant:

[url=<a href="http://news-service.stanford.edu/stanfordtoday/ed/9801/9801fea5.html%5D9801fea500.shtml%5B/url">http://news-service.stanford.edu/stanfordtoday/ed/9801/9801fea5.html]9801fea500.shtml[/url</a>]</p>

It is a good award, but it is mostly a school-wide award, so it isn't quite on the level of, say, ISEF or USAMO.

Yea the RPI and the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Awards are both just school wide awards for best overall science student.

You'll only get the scholarship from RPI if they accept you. According to their info session, not every Rensselaer Medal recipient is accepted.

ooo thanks for the info:) didnt know that:)
