Replacement Essay

I changed my essay 3 about 4 hours before the deadline because I felt the old version was not personal enough. I like my new essay, but due to time constraints, I was not able to send it to my english teacher for grammer corretions. Now, we found about 5 small grammer mistakes and I thought of a few places where I can make some minor changes with flow. I called the admissions office and they said that I can send it a replacement essay if I do it fast. Should I? If I do, will it hurt my chances?

I really think that admissions is sincere and replacing your essay would not cost you. On the other hand, how important are the minor changes to you? Do what you feel best about.

without a doubt, do it. not because it will make a real difference in your app (either way) but because it'll put you at ease.

I sent a hard copy of my long essay to U Chicago. It isn't the same situation, but if you first class it, with a note explaining your circumstances, I'm sure Chicago will be happy to oblige you with reading your preferred essay.

Ok, I made the changes and will send the essay first class along with some financial aid stuff on Tuesday. Thanks.
