It states on the website that if a student fails to earn a grade of C or better after submission of the application, he/she must notify the UC Application Center. What if a student earns a C- in a course after submission of application does he/she still have to notify the University of California Application Center? Or does notification only apply to D’s and F’s?

Your schools reports pluses and minuses?

UC rounds to the grade in the UCgpa calculation, so I doubt it matters if it is ‘some kind of a C’, but I can’t say for absolute sure.

If you get admitted, you have to send your transcripts. So if they find that you didn’t report the C, they might revoke your admission.

I called UC admissions and they said you only need to report D’s and F’s to them.

BTW, I was asking for my neice. I graduated from UCSD about 3 years ago :). Thanks for the replies!
