As of last week, I have a D in AP Economics (Micro). Do I have to report it?

I've been scanning through my emails and a few old ones are telling me that I have to notify UCs if I have a D or an F in a class.

Is this a MANDATORY REQUIRED ACTION that must be taken ASAP?

And do I need to do the same for Cal States?

Your final transcript will be sent to whatever college you decide to matriculate. It’s best if you tell them first, no?

The fear of having an acceptance rescinded is kinda scary.

My d’s letter of acceptance from a CSU stated the offer of admission is conditional and contingent upon meeting the following conditions:

Completing your “to do” list
Completion of course work with “C” or better
Maintaining eligibility index as calculated from your application
Submitting official HS transcript w/graduation date & official SAT/ACT test scores

Honestly, I wouldn’t contact them now. You have a few weeks left in this semester - work hard at bringing your grade up.

Right. I’m just praying I’ll get a C despite the fact that my parents will probably murder me. But hey, at least it should get me in, right?

The grades the UCs expect you to report, if you get less than a C, are end of semester grades. By then it will just be to the campus you accepted the offer of admission. Since this is just April, it isn’t anywhere near the end of the term. If you are pretty sure near the end that you will get less than a C, at that point get in touch.
