Report Low AP Score or not?

I received a 2 on AP Physics 1. I hold myself to a pretty high academic standard so I was pretty disappointed in myself. The first thing I did was email my teacher to apologize.

My question is whether I should report the 2. I want to major in philosophy, and am not a “science” person. I also got a 31 on my Science sub score for the ACT. I got a B first semester and then worked my but off to get an A second semester. I don’t want the scores to be read into as grade inflation.

The Common App specifically asks if I have any scores I “wish to report,” not that I have taken. That’s where my question arises. What do you think I should do?

Thank you.

I wouldn’t report it, it doesn’t appear to be required. From their website:

“AP examination scores are recommended but not required. If you have Advanced Placement (AP) scores, we recommend that you self-report them in the space provided in the testing section of the Common Application, Coalition Application, or QuestBridge National College Match Application.”

I would not report a 1 or a 2.
