Reporting AP Exam Scores

I scored a 3 on one of my AP exams last May. A lot of the colleges I'm applying to only view 4s and 5s as good scores and will give me course credit for them or use else use the 4s or 5s as placement exams. I have already listed the three 4s I've received.

For the couple of colleges on my list that will use a 3 as course placement, should I list it on my CommonApp or should I leave it off and, should the 3 ever be needed, wait until I'm registering for classes to use it?

Leave it off. I don’t think you can customize which colleges see what score.

Remember, the CommonApp self-report on AP/SAT scores is just a way you can unofficially report your good scores to make you look, well, good. They won’t really care what you have until the official College Board reports come in. So you might as well leave off that 3.

Good to know! Thanks a bunch. :)
