Reporting outside scholarships?

So I was just awarded a few local scholarships, and I’m trying to report them to Brown. I just emailed the finaid office but I was hoping for some quicker relief. I have the reporting form, but I’m still incredibly confused:

On the form, it states that all checks must be sent to the Brown Cashier. However, some of my scholarship checks are made out to my name. How would this work?

Also, some of my scholarships require proof of enrollment. Since there was no housing deposit, and since I don’t have an ID card or tuition bill yet, what proof could I send in?

Lastly, if an organization will send the check directly to Brown, how can I make sure that it gets credited to my account (so they don’t think I’m lying or anything)?

Thanks for the help…I’m just kind of lost.

The FA office is going to be most helpful with these questions. However, I’ve got a suggestion for proof of enrollment: a scan of your admissions letter or admissions packet with your name on it. Explain that there was no housing deposit, and they’ll probably understand. You should also receive your Brown email soon, so you can use that as further proof.

what scholarships did you get? was any scholrship open to Indian/International Students?..plz desperately help needed!
