reporting outside scholarships

<p>in the financial aid letter, nyu says that we must report any outside scholarships. </p>

<p>how does that affect the aid package? can nyu take away the grants and loans even though with the additional scholarship, i still have trouble paying the cost?</p>

<p>in some cases it does. it depends on the scholarship. call the fin aid office and ask, the website is very misleading (or it was in my case, but im not bitter).</p>
