I took some SAT and SAT Subject Tests in sophomore and junior years and reported the scores to some schools at the time. Now it's 1-2 years later and I'm looking into applying to universities; will these schools still have my scores on file or will I have to re-submit them?

Whenever you request a score report from College Board they include a cumulative report of all your SAT and SAT II scores. So if you send your most recent scores colleges will have your earlier ones too.

My last test was several months ago though, and I'm not taking any further SAT's.. so are the score reports I have already sent in the past two years, already stored at the schools I sent them to? so they'll already have the official score report when I submit my applications?

I sent in my scores to some schools back in 2005. When I actually started
applying (this year) the SAT II scores I had sent in was available so it
would be safe to say that most schools seem to keep the scores sent to them and link it in when you apply. :)

So ... do you need to send the school your scores after you are admitted? Or will they already have had it on file and you're OK? Or does it depend on the school?

(The reason I am asking for more input is because I am getting different answers from my friends and I'm getting kinda nervous here :) )

Schools generally set up an application file whenever they receive either an application or a test score. However, they differ as to how long they hold open an incomplete file. Some dispose of it after a year or so if no application is received, some longer. A score sent in last several months is likely still in an open file but if sent close to two years ago, the file they set up may be gone. Thus, you should check with particular colleges (or just resend to be safe if you do not want to check).

Well, when you take a test, the College Board sends the schools you select an entire score report, including all prior tests taken, right? My most recent test was in June ('07). Is it safe to assume that the schools will have this report? :)

And besides, won't they just ask me (phone, letter, w/e) for an official report if they don't have one? :/

Yes, College Board sends a cumulative report so if schools receive your 6/7 results the earlier scores will be included.

I don't think you can count of schools to follow up with you if your file is not complete. It's your job to insure they have the information they need. If there's any doubt call or email to verify.
